Q- I'm allergic to many foods and dietary supplements. How can I possibly follow your program that will likely include items i'm allergic to?
A- It's important to understand that the body will have an "allergic" reaction to some items when the chemistry is "off", for instance, if the marker IgE is positive. With our clients who have allergic responses, we start out slowly. In rebuilding the intestinal mucosa where "friendly" bacteria lives, the body's immune fuction increases as the healing occurs with the necessary nutrients. This repair improves your body's system enabling it to better digest proteins, which is one of the reasons the body has allergic reactions. After a relatively short time, it is very likely you will no longer have reactions to the usual items. Of course, there are several other factors to consider. Your consultant will cover these with you.
Q- What recommendations do you have for chelation therapy?
A- We only make recommendations on this fact of detoxing after we have seen extensive blood and urinalysis on an individual. This allows us to see what is going on in the body and helps boost the body's immune system. In this way, any other recommendations for detox can be done safely.
Q- Should I take this chemisrty to my doctor?
A- We encourage you to share your blood chemistry with your doctor. We are here to support you in your efforts to be healthier and would be happy to communicate with your health care provider.
Q- How many follow-ups will i need to take care of my problem?
A- Your consultant will discuss that with you based on results. Initially, it is wise to repeat a chemistry and consultation within 8-14 weeks of starting your program. Follow-up chemistry and consultations are then recommended based on how you are progressing. IHR feels you should continue to monitor your chemistry as long as you are interested in your health.
Q- Why do I have symptoms x, y, z after starting my program?
A- This is typically due to the detox process. Call or email IHR with your concerns, and we will adjust, suggest, or eliminate for a time, certain items that may be causing your body to then detox more rapidly then expected.
Q- Why do I need to add lemon and lime to my drinking water?
A- Weak acids such as these stimulate the body to release secretin hormone, which signals the pancreas to release alkaline buffers, which in turn neutralize acid. The subsequent rise in budy pH helps to operate healthfully. See Volume 1/ Issue 1 of Put Down The Duckie put out by IHR.
Q- Can you e-mail me my health plan?
A- Yes, it is e-mailed within 24 of your consultation. If preferred we can mail you the plan with your supplement order or seperately.
Q- Is Sam Queen retiring?
A- Sam is not retiring, in reality he is working now more than ever. He is fortunate because he now has the opportunity to write a couple of books that he has been attempting to write for years.

Q- What comes with a consult?
A- Approximately 1 hour initial consult, an audio recording of this will be sent to you. Your dietary and action schedule will be formated, and printed out for you.
Q- How long does the consult last?
A- Approximately 1 hour.
Q- How often should I repeat my chemistry?
A- Every 90 days is standard for first 12-18 months then a maintenance plan would be every 6 months.
Q- Why do we want you to check with us at 6 weeks?
A- We would like to touch base and see how you are progressing with the plan. Sometimes there are questions, or concerns that arise and by discussing your plan and your progress we may be able to help.
Q- How long do i have to be on the program?
A- We have no way of knowing the anwser to this. Our goal is to help you be as healthy as you want to be. The time varies depending on what you bring to the table. Our goal would be for you to be on a maintenance plan as soon as possible.
Q- What supplements do you carry?
A- We carry mostly prescription for health branded products. These are high quality and specific formulations that apply to Free Radical Therapy.
Q- Are there alot of supplements to take?
A- We have created custom convenience packet supplements to make it easy to take abd carry with you.
Q- Do we carry Gift Cards?
A- Yes, we do in increments of $25.00 and available on line electronically.
Q- Can I make payments, because I may not be able to afford this.
A- Yes, you can utilize CareCredit.com, Payments are over 12 months. Plus you pay no interest on this initial program late charges would apply to you.
Q- Do you take insurance?
A- No we do not, Insurance companies do not normally recognize complimentary health care.
Q- Can I use the chemistry I already have?
A- Probably not, the chemistry typically run by your doctor only covers minimal markers. To get an entire picture of what is going on in tour system, we ned to have an extensive blood and urinalysis. This will assist us in making better health recommendations for you. If you have chemistry results within the last 3 months, we would be happy to have a copy as reference even through it may be limited.
Q- How do I go about getting a Queen Profile II chemistry done? I live Internationally.
A- IHR will email to you a list for the required chemistry markers needed for consulting with our office. Ask your doctor if he is able and willing to run ALL of the markers on the list. If so, just email or fax us those results and we will then set up a consultation time for you and an IHR consultant.
Q- Do we need an appointment at quest diagnostics for labwork?
A- Typically no, you may want to call the facility to make sure. It's first come first serve, so it would be best to get there just proir to opening.
Q- How long does it take for results to come back on the chemistry?
A- Approximately 10 days, unless something goes missing and we need part of the chemistry resubmitted.
